Recall your last 25 commands with RETP

We have already seen in the REFLIST trick how we can retrieve the names of last 30 browsed dataset. Similarly is it possible to retrieve or see what last 25 command that I have passed in mainframe? This will be helpful to avoid repeated typing of commands and can also help when we want to find multiple strings in multiple Dataset. So we don’t have to retype same FIND command multiple times

Solution

Yes, we can see last 25 commands we passed to mainframe by passing “RETP” command in via command line of mainframe
