Handy commands - SYSNAME, USERID, PANELID, MSGID

Few command which can be very helpful:-

SYSNAME: When we don’t know in which environment we have logged in i.e. whether we are in TEST region or in PROD region, we can use this command to check same. It will display LPAR name in Top-Left side of mainframe screen

USERID: - When we use ID of someone else or we don’t remember with whose ID we have logged in we can check user id by issuing USERID command in command line to check same. USER id gets displayed in Top-left side of mainframe screen

PANELID & MSGID: - When you start programming in REXX these commands will be helpful to work with any mainframe screens
